POST #17—AT THE BEACH

This beach is really beautiful.
Yeah. And empty.
Yeah. I wonder why no one else is here at the beach.
Yeah. What are these metal things over here in the sand?
Don't know. Rusty barrels?
They look more like cannons to me.
Can you read that sign? What does "prohibited" mean?
I left my dictionary at the hotel. But it's probably not important.
Gosh, I didn't think I'd ever see a beach this deserted.
Well, look again.
I can't see anything without my glasses/contacts/the binoculars.
Two men on horses.
Are they carrying water?
Are they carrying souvenirs?
Are they carrying guns?
Do you have your passport?
What do you think we should do?
Should we be worried about this situation?
Let's start walking toward that lighthouse.
That's not a lighthouse, that's a rocket launcher.
Are you sure?
Is that man signalling to us?
Should we pretend we don't see him?
Should we tell him we're with National Geographic?
